Located in Worcester’s historic Sidbury, The Italian Boy prides itself on creating beautiful hair and an exclusive, relaxing and individual experience.
The salon’s name is taken from the ‘Italian Boy Haircut’ of the 1950’s, which was regarded at the time as being influential and versatile and synonymous with some of the most stylish women of that era including Audrey Hepburn, Gina Lollobrigida and Elizabeth Taylor.
The cut was current, elegant, fashionable and beautiful and serves as the ethos upon which The Italian Boy hair salon was created.

I have been a client of The Italian Boy since it opened, and so has my husband. The clientele reflects all ages and genders. The team, led by Nicky, are very professional and this includes the trainees and receptionist, Claire. I feel that it is Nicky’s high level of skill that has been cascaded down to her team. They work to a very high standard yet manage to maintain a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The stylists will listen and advise in a way that is never hurried or intimidating. In my experience, this conversation has always produced the right result for me.

It’s the best cut I can remember
Just wanted to say huge thanks to Rachel for doing a great job of my hair this morning. Her attention to detail is amazing and made so much effort to get it right and how I wanted it. I don’t deal too well in hairdressers usually with the noise and lots going on but Rachel made sure I was comfortable, made me a drink and was nice to chat to. Nicola
Nicola is Salon Director and proud owner of The Italian Boy. Having started hairdressing at the age of 16, she has developed a breadth of experience and undivided attention to detail in colour, cutting and styling. Combining this with a commitment toward customer satisfaction and optimum service enables Nicola and the rest of her team to deliver a personalised approach for anyone visiting the salon.

Claire
You couldn’t find a more perfectly suited Front of House than Claire – for those that have met her, you’ll know she fully embraces life, embodying happiness and a smile to go with her enthusiasm. If visiting for the first time, Claire’s role is to understand and meet your individual needs, ensuring you experience of the salon is relaxed, friendly and fun, helping to leave a great and lasting impression.

Rachel
Rachel has been working as a stylist for more than 9 years and exudes creativity through intricate colouring and creating new styles. She is both warm and affectionate and her passion for hairdressing is matched by her love for making people smile and feel great. Outside of work, Rachel has an active lifestyle and loves spending time with friends and family, enticing them with a further skill in baking.
